HDS Industries - Consumers perform subcontract work for local industries and businesses and are paid on a piece rate basis for the work they complete. Small hardware assemblies, filling and sealing various components in plastic bags, and light clerical jobs are some of the work performed. In addition to the consumers working at the facility, enclave groups are transported to local industries to perform subcontract work on site.
Employment Services - Consumers who desire community employment are trained in job development skills and assisted in obtaining a job. Job coaching is provided as needed to ensure the person maintains their chosen employment successfully.
Enrichment Program
- Consumers participate in life skills training, leisure time activities,
and community outings. The group serves the community by delivering
Friendship Meals to senior citizens and conducting an ongoing recycling project.
